Then it probably was another song or a cover of Rabbit Hole (I find it extremely likely to be a cover of it since it became a trend some time ago and it even got on the FYP of people who didn't like Vocaloid but of course I may be wrong). And yes, you're right, the vocals are kind of similar. However, talking about the instrumentation is a bit hard when Vocaloid is involved since Vocaloid music can have any instrumentation or rhythm, even if most popular songs are similar in both aspects

That was kind of a weird controversy just because of a fan-made music video that sexualized Miku even though she's a minor (technically we could say that every Miku variant can be as older as it's creator wants to, but she was never confirmed to be an adult so there's the thing). Btw, even though I am a Vocaloid fan, it's ok if you don't like it. I just found funny how you considered Splatoon and Vocaloid similar lol

Also vocaloid is made off of real human's voices, I remember seeing a Twitter clip about a loli singing a sex song & ppl were mad because they used an actual kid's voice for the song. Obviously the person isn't a kid anymore, but still.
