Worst track in mario kart history
On 2025-04-25 at 11:38:55
1.It's a big ugly circle without a single fun shortcut
2.Makes you want to gouge your eyes out on the SNES
3.Has no personality in Tour
4.Although its background looks good in Super Circuit, they just took that from Sunset Wilds, can't even give it credit there.
All in all, it's ugly, it's boring, and it doesn't need a remake. Not even giving it the Cheese Land treatment could save it.
1. Both SMK and Super Circuit allow for a couple cool shortcuts if you're good enough. I can link the WRs if you don't believe me.
2. I don't really have a problem with the visuals myself. Maybe it's because I play on a handheld so the screen's different, or I've played the game for a few hundred hours but I don't think it's that big a deal.
3. Can't comment on this one, haven't played tour and I don't want to
4. All the SNES tracks got their backgrounds from MKSC so why is this a problem with CI1 specifically? Doesn't make sense in my head.
With all that out of the way, I'd like to make the case that the worst track is VL1. I want to play a racing game, not an obstacle course, and even including my favourite MK tech ever doesn't save it in either game it appears in (not counting Tour bc again, haven't played).
Who do you think is the best character in Mario kart world
On 2025-06-08 at 16:09:21
Yeah the meta's pretty mixed. My thought is that a perfect balance of stats will be the way to go online so that you can be kinda fast on every track
i calculated top 5 200cc AFs
On 2025-06-04 at 12:41:33
AFs?
AF (Average Finish) is the metric all other Mario Kart games use to determine who is their strongest player. It's calculated by simply taking the mean of all your ranks, assuming you have a time on every track
Best Tracks In Each Mario Kart Game

SMK - Mario Circuit 2/Koopa Beach 1. For the games I've taken seriously this'll be from a driving standpoint and these two are the most fun to me depending on level. Nowadays I'm leaning more to KB1.
MK64 - Royal Raceway, once again this one's just the most fun to drive for me, a couple shroomless cuts and just clean driving overall. Idk how else to explain it
MKSC - Snow Land. I know people hate this but trust me it's REALLY fun when you know how to drive it well. It features a tech that I love deeply and it flows really well, shoutout to Shy Guy Beach for the same reason.
MKDD - Only one i haven't played so I'm just gonna say Yoshi Circuit because it's the one that's most fun in other games
MKDS - If we're not counting retros, Luigi's Mansion I guess (I'm not really a fan of the nitros in DS from a TT perspective), if we are then Sky Garden. It's a simple track that feels good to play with more unique driving.
MKWii - I don't know quite yet but I'm gonna say Bowser's Castle for now, it's hard but really fun to go fast. Feels good too
MK7 and MK8 are both Neo Bowser City, MK7 for all the cool strats, MK8 for just how satisfying it is, like it's the track I feel flows the best.
I wish I could explain better without being called a nerd or tryhard but yk

Who invented Reverse drifting?
On 2025-04-25 at 11:20:45
Hadn't considered that, well played
On 2025-04-24 at 12:05:24
Really depends on how you define it.
Hgt was the first to discover that you could hold reverse during an MT to turn tighter, and we used it on DS BC since 2020
JPG realised that you could use it on straights over a year later, and then Ahmad used it to chain SMTs. Team effort really

MKPC COUNTER 7th birthday !!!

Definitely as a joke bro...
Are there YouTubers on MKPC?
On 2019-11-26 at 15:45:32
Your audience?
On 2019-11-26 at 11:44:29
When I get the right equipment, I can easily start doing MKPC videos. At the moment, all I got is an MK7 time trial proof vid. But I'd be ok with starting MKPC

Idk what to say that hasn't already been said but being autistic is far from an excuse for being problematic. Please grow up and learn, rather than blaming things out of your control.

MKPC Lounge Picks?
On 2024-01-03 at 14:28:03
In most cases, we try to avoid SNES tracks whenever possible. Bagging in this game is a lottery and unless you're actively trying to annoy people or bagging is your only gameplan, then it's best not to take that risk. You'll see the guy in last pick them but otherwise it's not preferred.
And as others have said, it heavily depends on the lineup as everyone has different strengths, as well as their positions. That being said, Riverside/Lakeside are a staple, as well as at least 1 Bowser Castle due to being very running-friendly.

What your opinion about the CPU And All Mario Kart Games.
On 2023-12-10 at 17:36:50
64- medium difficulty
super circuit- medium difficulty
ds- easy
Wii- very easy
8 deluxe- too easy
tour- i haven't played in a while but they were easy
I've never played double dash or 7.
Lmao SMK CPUs are the easiest to deal with. Because they lack the ability to get lightning bolts, the only way you're getting out of first is if you make a legitimate mistake

Even if I Drift, They Still Push Me Off on Ghost Valley, SNES Bowser Castle, and SNES Rainbow Road.
Just be faster bro, I don't know what to tell you
How do I go Faster? They Literally Go Faster than Someone that Doesn't Drift.
Then drift. There is no way to cheat them, they just take a little while of practice. You don't have to do GP anyway
Bagging exists. That's the cheat
Mario Kart Wii is not as Good as People Say.

People saying MKDS is better than MKWii ? 😭 How girl

Ultra Shortcut You Can Do!
On 2023-12-05 at 21:41:37
how does it make a lap?
how many checkpoints are there in the track?
is there a checkpoint glitch/bug/problem?
MKSC has no checkpoint system. All that matters is that you cross the line without the game detecting you crossed it backwards. Otherwise you are free to do whatever you want on the track. This can lead to instances of skipping laps entirely by hitting a wall and the finish line at the same time, see: Both Park tracks, Cheese Land, Ghost Valley 2/3, both Choco Islands, MC4, KB2 (only in the JP version)...
The original post is correct that it's another shortcut, but it's not what would be considered an "ultra shortcut" by mkwii players. In fact, none of them are because there's no checkpoints being exploited. It's simply known as a shortcut if it violates the non-sc rules: https://www.mariokart64.com/mksc/rules.php
In MKSC there is a lots of ultra shortcut (like in Cheep Cheep Island)
I know, I was just giving examples of one specific type of SC. In fact every track has some form of glitch category except Rainbow Road and Vanilla Lake 1 - even if it isn't a shortcut.

This is why discord is boring and toxic.
On 2023-11-26 at 23:43:47

Allow me to explain, for both your sake and everyone else's who wishes to join the discord.
It is explicitly stated in the rules that you have to follow Discord Terms of Service. This includes being at least 13 years of age, or even higher depending on your country. Us asking for your age was not to make you uncomfortable but to uphold the server's rules. Thank you for completing missing the point

MK8DX New Meta
On 2023-04-21 at 11:30:15
It's hard to say what's superior between Luigi/Iggy + Inkstriker, and Rosa/Link/King Boo + Teddy Buggy at this current point. There are a few pointers I can give though:
1. we can rule out King Boo for the same reasons that no-one used DK competitively, he took up too much space on the screen so the other two are strictly better.
2. Yoshi/Biddybuggy is only good in TT, because if you aren't snaking there's almost no advantage, you just lose speed.
3. If you're used to the old meta, I suggest Teddy+Roller over Inkstriker+Leaf. It's definitely more akin to pre-patch but with better results now.

Who is your best character in mkpc
On 2020-08-18 at 22:18:20
daisy because on like baby park or mario circuit 2 you can be at mini turbo speed for the whole race
That's every track bro
no on tracks with long straights you lose mini turbo speed for a bit before gaining it again.
No...
