Koopa Beach is just two circles.
Bowser Castle 4 is amazing, best of the three, but again, the grounds of comparison are not existent, like digging up animal bones and then comparing cats and snakes. Where is the common thing? Koopa Troopa Beach does exist if you wanted three Koopa tracks or three Beach tracks, or any conceivable comparison.
Koopa Cape is nice. Not better than GBA Bowser Castle 4. The other Bowser Castles are fine, but also fairly uneventful. This one is fantastic; now, at the least.
SNES Koopa Beach needs a RMX version to salvage it. RMX saved Vanilla Lake already, it saved Ghost Valley, Donut Plains, Chocolate Island, it can save Koopa Beach.
Still, there is no common ground between the 3.

Making sure everything has it's strengths and weaknesses rather than all strengths and no weaknesses. If your going to be doing one action, you can't be doing another at the same time. Or, if your character is skilled in one area, they are going to suck somewhere else. Stuff like that.

Making sure everything has it's strengths and weaknesses rather than all strengths and no weaknesses. If your going to be doing one action, you can't be doing another at the same time. Or, if your character is skilled in one area, they are going to suck somewhere else. Stuff like that.

We can't forget the sizable crowd malding at Waluigi's exclusion from being a playable Smash character for the better part of a decade and a half now.
I see everyone was talking about Shy Guy, Shy Guy is only playable in MKDS if you do multiplayer, but I think it's possible to play as Shy Guy in the main game if you hacked your copy of Mario Kart DS

Shy Guy isn't playable in Super Circuit. That's not "unfair", that's game design. Console constraints used to be a problem. It usually came down to accepting that a character you like is actually quite irrelevant in reality, not mandatory in anyway, liable to be dumped at the drop of a hat. You realized this,and then you moved on.

So Before I start, here are some Things I need to Explain.
1. I just made another Topic but I need to Say this.
2. My other Complaining Topics were bad, but I just Need to talk about this to other Mario Kart Fans.
This is the List of things that get me annoyed about the Princess TOUR.
1. In Wii Daisy Circuit, they could have added a Glider Ramp to that Shortcut.
2. GBA Peach Circuit doesn't have a Glider Ramp. I know that's weird, but every TOUr that introduces a Classic Course So Far hasn't had a Glider Ramp. Or having a Glider Ramp in a Spot that Works. Like in GBA Bowser Castle 4, they could have added a Glider Ramp to the Big Jump.
3. GBA Peach Circuit doesn't have the Cool Beta Remix that MK8 Has.
4. Daisy only has one Course in the TOUR, It's a Princess TOUR. Peach has 3 Courses, Daisy has 1.
5. They didn't add GCN Daisy Cruiser R/T, That could have been a Perfect Inclusion.
6. What does Wii Coconut Mall have to do with Princesses, or SNES Donut Plains 3?
7. Why isn't 3DS Daisy Hills in it?

This one isn't a terrible complaint topic, personally. You've definitely come a long one way.
As far as the lack of Daisy stuff goes, we know there is a good chance of an all Daisy & Desert Tour later, with this Sarasaland track or something? Mind you, pinning down exact dates months in advance isn't easy, but they could be saving it for then.
For the music: Mario Kart 8's whole thing was Live Instruments instead of MIDI, on tracks where they could, because some have MIDI instruments that try to sound like real ones. It isn't confirmed, but certain remixes have simplified sections where normally playing the MIDI notes are borderline impossible on a real instrument. Sydney is the best example, Riverside Park is also a bit slower than normal. Might be why it's the BETA one in 8. Since Tour went back to MIDI, it's okay to remix the normal one again.
Gliders aren't mandatory, I guess. And keep in mind, Peach Circuit will always be an intro course. Maybe a better one like Luigi Circuit would.
Not sure about Coconut Mall. Girls like shopping, I suppose? Most tracks are likely just to fill out space. "Game Design" lol.

If I were to develop, Big Blue's thematic is better, it is futuristic and more original, and the visuals could be seen as better, and the gameplay is still good, but 3DS Rainbow Road is still really good, many different parts that make it quite different of your typical Rainbow Road, but rhe music... man it just slaps and hits harder than it should. I used to think it was overrated, it still is, but Big Blue is too. I think that Big Blue wins in creativity but subjectively Rainbow Road is better in my opinion and I don't think you can change that tbh, just how things are.

Anyway, I've already painted a picture of how much I, not EXACTLY dislike, per say, disagree, with Rainbow Road.
And that does not stop here! Big Blue is better: has a cool shortcut, better music, original theming , great finale track. It's opponent has also been.... tamed....repeatedly. Too many slip ups to ignore, unless you're 6. Still don't quite get the criteria that allows this comparison, like the fuck is it supposed to be?
Anyways, Big Blue does have a few problems. For one, wasted. I do get that the kids they market to only know Mute City and Big Blue, but they should've used Fire Field. The track could be exactly the same, that's not the issue, the issue is that this Big Blue tried too hard to be cool when Big Blue is the most boring track in F-Zero and you never wanna play it be it's a slog. Even the later Mute Cities are interesting. It'd be better off as Port Town, just change the blue's to yellow and boom, track fits.
Second issues, which is a issue with all the 3rd party tracks; they're enabling idiots to be idiots. People think Zelda is coming, and Kirby, Captain Flcon and such. No, you dumbfucks. That's not how it works. They specifically used ONE entry. New Leaf, Skyward Sword, Splatoon 1, FZERO 1. Not the whole series. One game only to quickly represent that series, not a sign.
I guess that a third is that they are all shoddy representation of those games, but that's up for debate. What isn't' up for debate? The only good Rainbow Road is GCN's. Have a good day.

And 3DS Rainbow Road's 1 good version is drawn down by it's two completely neutered gutter trash poopy ass versions. Mushroom Gorge is still way better than all of these, however, and so are Wario Shipyard & Airship Fortress. Yes, I included ACTUALLY good tracks from these 3 Mario Kart games in my rant.

Halfpipes are irrelevant though, nobody with a brain uses them, besides where there are long extended ones, like DK Summit, or Waluigi Sadium. On outside corners, they don't matter. Never have, never will.
In MK8D They Literally Give You The Speed Of A Mushroom
Yes, but the outside corners are still much slower than taking it normally. If you got hit, yes, you'd take it. But, as proven in N64 Luigi Raceway, U Rainbow Road, DS Walugi Pinball, U Mario Kart Stadium, Wii Luigi Circuit, Tour Merry Mountain, Wii Maple Treeway, Wii Mushroom Gorge, and others, boosts mean nothing when you have to go so far out of your way to get them. You're still going to be behind regardless if you need to go so deep into the corner to get it.
