You can just learn reverse drifting you know? The hardest part is just getting the hang of it, once that is done it's just about consistency.
Have a look at the inputs if you're struggling:

Moderators, Challenge Validator or normal players can all play and beat challenges. Nothing specific happens if a moderator or a challenge validator beats it, it just counts as 1 completion.

Challenge Validators can validate any challenge whenever they want without even having to test it. Though, I personally prefer to ALWAYS play and beat a challenge before validating it to make sure that I give it the most appropriate difficulty. There are 1 to 3 active validators these days so you may see validators like myself, @Hazel or @BowserJr03 as a challenge's first completor.

If you ever see a validated challenge without any completion, it's either because the challenge is EXTREMELY difficult in which case we validate it so everybody can try to beat it, or the challenge is just long and annoying like "Finish in 1st place 20 times in a row" (real story...).

Though I got some questions:

- Does Any% mean 150cc still? I think there should be categories similar to MK8D speedrun categories like "56 Tracks + Items + 150cc" and "56 Tracks + Items + 200cc" for example.
- I have a recording of me with Livesplit timer getting a 0'43"91 on Blue Yourself meme category... However I don't see it on MKPC Speedrun.com, is there a way to add it somewhere? If yes, you can already see the clip I've sent in #time-trials CTP Server, I even pinged you. Also I used 8 racers, Impossible difficulty, standard item distribution, base game tracks.
- Will you try to compete if I submit runs? It would be quite boring otherwise..

The Feather item would allow players to skip random portions of tracks and they would complain about skipping checkpoints. If the Feather ever gets added, too many huge shortcuts could be performed but most of them would lead to an instant CP (Checkpoint) skip.

The walls from SNES Bowser Castle tracks will never be removed so it's best you guys try to get used to it and train on these tracks if you want to get better at them.

Now this topic has gone into complete Chaos, everybody's just saying whatever they want to say without even thinking before posting. Out of 2 full pages on this topic, not even 5 posts actually talk about the rating given to @Skrapz's QM track.
Like the moderators @Wal68 and @everyone have already mentionned, creating topic about the game itself is allowed and valued.

Most of you guys want to play it this way and don't want to take a step back to think of the situation because some people here have too much of an ego to acknowledge they are wrong.
Think before posting, read the forum rules. Let's not continue this, this is pointless.

As for everything that happened, well there were a lot of updates and changes here and there.
Here is the list of the major updates since after you're gone, from oldest to most recent:

• Per-lap Override Update (11/08/2024)
The track editor now allows you to use a heavily requested tool back in the days called "Overrides". This tool basically allows you to change how the track plays mid-lap on a specific Checkpoint! It's very very useful for Tour City tracks for example as each lap take 3 different routes every time.

• POW Block Update (28/09/2024)
That's right! The POW Block from Mario Kart Wii has been entirely coded into Mario Kart PC!!! Just like in the Wii version, the better you time your jump, the less damage you will get!

• Override 2.0 Update (31/05/2025)
Per-lap overrides is an amazing feature that allows track creators to create even more creative tracks. However there were a few problems:
- Because overrides were only triggerable on Checkpoints, you couldn't really have optional overrides that would activate only on certain conditions. At the end of the race, all the overrides would inevitably get triggered no matter what, and always in the same order, which would heavily reduce the variety of options.
- It wasn't easy to have an override that was active only for a certain portion of a track independent of the lap, you basically had to recreate the same override N times, one for each lap.
- Overrides couldn't be used in Battle Arenas.

• Rails Update (13/09/2025)
With the release of Mario Kart World introducing a brand new feature being the rails, players thought it would be great to also have them in Mario Kart PC! However they are still a bit janky and will eventually get reworked at one point.

This update was made to prevent forum spammers and raise activity for the game itself. Most people only come on this website to talk all day instead of playing.
When Wargor first made the site, the forum was a way to create a community around his game! But it had taken a bad turn once people started spamming instead of playing.

Like Nudgy said, you did troll rate. Not assuming would just be very hypocrite of you. What do you say about this?

Yeah but compared to Twitch, we don't have any chat to communicate with you while you're playing, making it really boring... I actually went on the link you've shared but yeah despite you playing it's just that, we can't talk unfortunately.

Avoid creating topics with the only purpose being to gain followers. Also, posting more than 3 messages in a row isn't allowed, you can simply edit the previous message if you need to add something, and you can also put quotes into 1 message.
The forum rules exist for a reason. If you don't follow them you may receive sanctions.
