Are we allowed to Minimod on our own topics? Let's say somebody creates a topic about Mario Galaxy movie and a forum member promotes a track that hey have just created.
Can't the topic owner just tell them that it's not the place to post or promote their tracks?

Half of the forum members saying "So you won't be able to play with us anymore" but all they do is grind the forum. Wake up guys it's 2026, maybe it's time to actually play the game Online!

Originally the forum was made for people to talk about the game, if you wanna talk with people well social medias and the Mario Kart PC Discord Server are here for that. If you're underaged that's a you problem.

I agree with you on every points.

I personally dislike Tour Sky-High Sunday but I think Baby Park is just the only goofy aah race that we have in Mario Kart. It's the only 7 laps track too and is fun to play with all the chaos happening (however it's still missing the Bowser Shell bouncing around in the track...)

During a MKPC competitive match, I was about to dodge a Blue Shell by jumping in a hole in a place filled with holes everywhere... Here's the 500000 IQ move I pulled (Grandmaster rank btw):

FIB in S tier sure is a hot take! Could you explain why you put it in S tier above everything else?

I disagree with that statement. If you spam every item you have while bagging you won't come back. You have to use them wisely and correctly.

Like if you get a Shock, use it right away and make half of the room dodge that's bad itemplay. Skilled players would make SURE no one is in a dodge to allow themselves a come-back.

Well... Here I would want to agree to this but Nintendo itself does say that Mario Kart Tour is a mainline wether we like it or not

I see I see... However Mario Kart 9 has already been released and titled Mario Kart Tour, and Mario Kart 10 has been released and titled Mario Kart World so you're quite late man ^^'

Removing those and Blue Shells would cause bagging to almost completely disappear X_X Frontrunning would be so much easier now...

Here is my item tier list! It is based on how strong I can be with an item.


S Tier:
The most powerful item in the game, it's usually the item that I want the most on Lap 2 or Lap 3 to make a huge come-back and completely turn the race around! It's also fun to shock dodge your mate or target shock someone.
Very useful item granting complete invincibility to any item all while giving a great speed increase! It's one of the best item to use for very long shortcuts.
x3 Similarly to the Star, the Triple Mushrooms are very useful for great shortcuts, but they can be used a different places because there are 3 Mushrooms!

A Tier:
The 2nd most powerful item in the game (in my opinion), the POW Block is really useful to "reset" everybody's items. Using a POW Block requires a lot of skill as you have to take into account the dodging possibilities (using jumps or cannons) so timing it right can be a problem.
It can also be great to force others to waste their power items. To me, it's one of the most strategical items in the game behind the Shock.
The reason the Golden Mushroom is placed lower than the Triple Mushrooms is because it has to be used in the right place for it to be useful. If not then it will just end up staying in your item slot for nothing, preventing the user to pull new items. However it's still a key item to come back when bagging as it allows taking great shortcuts.
Despite its very high speed, the Bullet Bill often stays at the center of the road. It can also skip many shortcuts if not used correctly. Using it in dangerous places can be very fun though.
The Blue Shell is without a doubt one of the funniest items in the entire game, it litteraly punishes the person in 1st place for being good at the game!
Most of the time players tend to throw their Blue Shell right away as if it was a waste. Learning how to use a Blue Shell like timing it so that 1st place has no way to dodge it with a cannon, a ground item or even by falling in a hole is actually very fun! Because it creates a sense of panic in most players, it can truly change the outcome of a race.
To me the Mega Mushroom is just a failed Star (litteraly). It makes the player invincible... but not to every item, it gives a speed boost... but weaker than the Star's and we can't crush players like in the official Mario Kart Games. However the gimmick of growing the player to shrink them back later on after the effect is over is fun for some reason!
Even if it is weaker than a Star, because it can be obtained somewhat commonly it becomes a decent item to bag and come back with!
I'm a very good Bob-Omb sniper and I love slowing down on players on purpose to make them go BOOM! It's just that I personally think making absolutely insane Bob-Omb snipes from afar is just hilarious xD
x3 Having Triple Red Shells almost guarantees a hit on the player ahead, it's fun to spam them to destroy an opponent's protections and the opponent itself because there is nothing they can do against 3 Red Shells. It's also great for defense and intimidating other racers!

B Tier:
x3 Just like the Red Shell it's a very great defensive and offensive item but most of the time you 2 Green Shells end up breaking eachothers and the 3rd one hits you X_X
What I really like doing however is throwing them in walls so that it can hit players further ahead xD
Simple item, allows one shortcut to be taken but nothing much. It's a REALLY good item to have in 1st place to dodge Blue Shells like a pro!
Funny item that can be thrown in walls, it's very very satisfying to snipe someone with a Green Shell.
The reason why I prefer single Green Shells over single Red Shells is because they often break on nothing by hitting a decor or a ground item. Also they're pretty predictable unlike Green Shells and can be really easily defended.
x3 Probably the best item to pull in 1st place. With Triple Bananas you're guaranteed to survive at least 3 Red Shells.
Now this is where people think I'm a weirdo. The FIB is probably my favorite item to get in 1st place for one reason: by throwing it and hitting my own FIB, I can dodge Blue Shell thanks to the i-frames (it's better to spin out twice than 4 times xD). This strategy with the FIB already saved me many races!

C Tier:
The Poison Mushroom is one of the most random yet original item we have, being taken from the original Super Mario Kart game. It's cool because it shrinks down players but that's pretty much it.
Bananas are weak items for offense and defense, nothing special about them.

D Tier:
The Blooper doesn't affect players in the game, but rather the person playing. If the player can easily see through the ink the Blooper becomes a useless item.
In my opinion it should drop the handling statistics a bit and also

Pretty solid tier list with good explanations!

I see that you're having some troubles with the F tier items, for the Bob-omb and the Green Shell you should practice sniping with them. Try to snipe CPUs from afar with these 2 items, the more you train, the better you will be! As for the Mega Mushroom, because it is generally pulled in the middle-lower spots (or even early spots if 1st place is far away) it's not that OP I agree, but it still allows you to take great shortcuts! Make sure to pay close attention to your minimap to avoid any incoming Star and Bullet Bill!

It's alright if you're new! I've made this topic for everyone so beginner players and great players can try to follow some of the tips to improve faster! I really wanted it to serve as a guide so if someone wants an information about an item they would go back on this topic and see for themselves! I hope these tips are going to be helpful! ^^

For a beginner you already have great taste in most items! The Shock and the POW Block are 2 very difficult items to use correctly and most players often spam them without thinking much (just like with the Blue Shell).
When you hold one of the 3 items you pretty much control the outcome of a race, so you REALLY have to use those 3 items very efficiently

Because after all I kind of agree with you that every item can be good on one hand, but ONLY if used correctly. On the other hand if used terribly or if it is straight up wasted it becomes a terrible item. It's just like using a Blue Shell when you are in 1st place...

To be honest with you, I think the Blooper definitely needs an upgrade. Like making the ink splashes fully black and not transparant, and making the handling statistics a bit worse could do the deal! As long as it's annoying for players who are affected by this item, that's already an improvement.

Classic tierlist I like it, it's pretty accurate to every items' strenghts.

However what makes you think that the Dark Shell abd the Blue Shell are S tier items? Also could you explain further why you think the POW Block is a D tier item though? It'd be interesting to know your opinion about those items! Also the Blooper is surprisingly placed pretty high too!
