Yeah - I played through them all. Before doing this I had only already played Superstar Saga a couple times and most of Partners in Time (I gave up around Star Hill due to being really underleveled). They're damn good games, and if you're thinking of playing any of them, please do! I might at some point do reviews on this topic but no guarantee. I know most people on the site aren't gonna care too much but that's why this is in Various Discussions. The reason I actually did this is the announcement of the TTYD remake. Even though I don't know the release date, I want to complete every Mario RPG before it's out, and I'm planning on taking on the Paper Mario games next. I have already played 64, TOK and TTYD but not SPM. I will not be playing Sticker Star or Colour Splash, I like my video games remotely enjoyable.

you should play Ultimate or Wii version the DS version cuts some wisps
its fine, i usually prefer shorter games
the wii version is very short even if you don't know what you're doing

I think it's pretty good, it's one of the few sonic games that doesn't really have any major flaws. Definitely a fun one to replay. Never played the DS version, and Ultimate is a "remaster" of the Wii version so my thoughts there are the same except its uglier and buggier

make sure the cheat codes are made for the same version of the game you're using, I remember having an issue where a 60fps code for Sonic Unleashed wouldn't work cause it was meant for a US rom and I was using a european one

On pourrait essayer de faire comme le système de MKW en rajoutant des checkpoint clée (le joueur doit tous les prendre pour valider le tour) et on pourrait peut-être les placer lors des créations de cartes.
use complete mode, that's already how it works there

If you don't know what I'm talking about, basically one of the servers a bunch of people including me and SM7 are on has a bot fot confessions, but we tend to use it to have a conversation but nobody knows who's saying what. The 69th confession was a homophobic remark, obviously it was a joke and nobody got hurt, but we decided to make a big deal of it for funnies, even an Objection.lol case about finding out who said #69 (it was Nudge, very obviously) and now it's just an inside joke

why are old games so dark

The "mario aesthetic" was a lot less developed back then and so usually isn't as vibrant, it'll also of course look less vibrant cause of lower graphical fidelity
