alright here’s a suggestion that won’t break the rules or make me get banned instantly

Suggestion: add a “track chaos rating” system.

basically, every track in MKPC would get a chaos score from 1–10 based on things like:

-number of sudden turns that punish you
-jumps that you can’t reverse-drift
-hazards placed just to ruin your lap
-online bumping potential

why it’s useful:

-people looking for a chill race vs a “oh god why did i pick this track” experience can filter tracks by chaos level
-encourages map makers to design either extremely controlled tracks or absurdly chaotic ones
-makes multiplayer more predictable (ish) because you kinda know what you’re signing up for

implementation idea:

-when creating a track, the author can assign a chaos score, maybe with a community voting option
-chaos rating shows up in the track list, so players can pick tracks based on how insane they want their race to be

bonus: could also work for custom multicups, so you know if you’re signing up for “Toilet Track” + “Squeaky Clean Sprint” or just some boring vanilla SNES map.

tl;dr: chaos rating = good for sanity, bad for people who like smooth racing

I've been wanting Exploding Decors such as Bob-Omb Cars for a LOOOOOONG Time! Moonview Highway remakes just aren't the same without Exploding Bob-Ombs.


I think we should also have Cars and Thwomps that can flatten us. You can't have Moonview Highway if you can't get flattened.

i have exceeded my 500 min maximum quota for tt's. add more minutes (1000) or add slots that can be added to infinity (500 mins per slot), and it only loads one slot and if the speedrun is from another slot, it switches to that slot only to be read (all are visible to public as ghosts)

1) IDk if this is a feasible task, but I would like to see a Wonder Flower item that would appear on the track when/where the cretor specifies. Upon any character collecting the item, the map would change, maybe similar to how we have the pre-lap override.

2) More gamemodes for battle modes (Cops & Robbers, Coin runners, etc). In my opinion having more battle mode gamemodes would be pretty fun.

3) I know this one sounds a bit weird, but I would like the idea of a setting in challenge editor to force CPU's to only be able to grab certain items from item boxes. For example, forcing the CPU's to only get bomb-ombs from item boxes while the player can grab all the items. There have been several times where I was making a challenge and wanting the CPU's to have certain items. I know this is really specific, but I would like it.

4) I would also like to see some new powerups, such as the fire flower, boomerang flower, hammers, crazy 8/super 7, etc.

5) I know a popular suggestion is the implementation of character-specific powerups, but I would like the idea of letting the player chose a single item before the race (such as green shell, red shell, banana, fake item box, etc.) and during the race they have a chance get 5 of the single item they chose, similar to how Mariokart tour does the frenzy mechanic. I feel this could be a way of adding the character-specific item feel without having to manually make a unique powerup for each character.

Just use an zone based override. Set the zone on the flower (as a custom decor) and create a modified image of the track so that it changes.

This takes up way too much storage. Wargor spent ages redoing and making the time trials more efficient. If you deselect 'save ghost' I think you can have more time trials. Considering you could only have ghosts for the base 56 tracks before, I don't think 500+ minutes or slots are worth the time and effort for Wargor.
