STOP JOKING ON JEFFREY EPSTEIN
On 2026-03-18 at 11:41:32
Jokes about Jeffrey Epstein and similar topics are often framed as “dark humor,” but in reality, they raise important ethical concerns about how we talk about serious harm. While humor can be a powerful way to process difficult subjects, it can also cross a line when it trivializes real suffering. In cases involving abuse and exploitation, the impact of these jokes goes beyond entertainment—they can diminish the gravity of what actually happened and affect how people perceive such issues.
At the center of the problem is the fact that these jokes are tied to real victims. When people make light of situations involving exploitation, it can come across as dismissive or even disrespectful to those who were directly harmed. Survivors of abuse often face significant emotional and psychological challenges, and public discourse that turns their experiences into punchlines can reinforce feelings of being ignored or invalidated. Even for those not directly connected, this kind of humor can create an environment where serious issues are treated casually rather than with the care they deserve.
Another concern is the way repeated exposure to such jokes can shape attitudes. Humor has a subtle influence on how people think; when serious topics are consistently presented in a joking manner, it can lead to desensitization. Over time, audiences may begin to view these issues as less severe or less urgent, which can weaken the collective sense of responsibility to address them. This doesn’t mean all humor about difficult topics is inherently wrong, but it does mean context and intent matter. There is a difference between humor that challenges wrongdoing and humor that risks minimizing it.
It is also worth considering the social impact of sharing these jokes. In many cases, people repeat them without fully thinking about their implications, especially in online spaces where content spreads quickly. What might feel like a quick, edgy remark can contribute to a broader culture that normalizes insensitivity. Being mindful of this doesn’t require avoiding humor altogether—it simply means recognizing that words and jokes carry weight, especially when they reference real-world harm.
Ultimately, choosing not to engage in this kind of humor reflects a level of awareness and respect for others. It shows an understanding that some topics deserve thoughtful discussion rather than casual jokes. Humor can still be creative, clever, and even edgy without relying on real suffering as its foundation. By being more intentional about what we find funny and share with others, we contribute to a more considerate and empathetic environment.

It looks worse so i HOPE
do you seriously think this is better?
(also, yes, it isnt final. here's the final version)

I just liked the dirt and grass effects, they just aren't here.
i could have done that, but there isn't any effects in paint.net that correctly capture that
There are, you just have to make them yourself

MKDS in MKPC?
wdym lol ?
with missions and retros
Ah so you want to be able to play on the DS tracks? That’s a shame, because they totally aren’t already in the game. Oh yeah, and as for missions, they aren’t playable either, since most challenge validators are too lazy (specifically me)

Did you know that Magikoopa (or Kamek) was supposed to be in Mario Kart 64? but i kinda forgot the reason why he was replaced with Donkey Kong in the final build, and i'm lazy to do some research, so can anyone let me know why he was given the boot?
Did you know that there is a Fun Facts topic?
Did you know this is your millionth time repeating something that has already been said?
maybe because when I wrote this message I had not seen the others because I was writing
Yes because it takes 3 minutes to type out 46 characters

Making a complete mode remake of 4 Corners. Try to guess what the corners will be themed around
On 2023-05-14 at 21:32:15
From now on, I’m gonna try to put more effort into the art of my tracks. Here is an example (also try to guess the Nintendo track it is a remake of)

So...I've decided SRK will have some DLC. The first cup is the "Remakes Cup" where these tracks are remakes of MKPC member's tracks. 3rd and 4th slot are ???. Why? Because the other two slots can be chosen by you! Yes you! Just choose 1 of your tracks and I'll remake them for you(in Pixilart)
Tracks:
SBOK3 Red Raceway 1(osc-omb)
Tilting Tempest(IlluZhion)

Decided I'm gonna take a break from MK9 for a bit, but I'm gonna try out a gimmick project. This will be another attempt at Super Nudge kart, but there will be a catch. Normally, my tracks are 1000x1000 images, and that will still be the case, however, all 16 tracks will be interconnected, in a 3000x3000 image, so tracks will overlap eachother. Even with this as the case, I will make sure to make every track unique. I will also include 2 tracks about MKPC Members per cup, which will fill out the odd numbered slots. And before you request a track about you, these people will be of my choosing.
EDIT: The final track will be a 3000x3000 image, being a 3 section track

MK2(L) is gonna include a special track, choose one of those four themes on this poll
Ignore my username on the poll. I was gonna add "(jk)" but accidentally pressed enter 😅
Why are you worried about typing "Lely hater" ? I know you're one anyways
And I deserve haters
I was saying it before you go on a hunt to find who "Lely hater" is

I plan to make the Flower Cup of SRK to be entirely based off MKPC players so if you want a track, just say your theme, and the first 4 to respond gets a track
A haunted volcano

This will be the final piece of news before the MK9 DEMO is complete, with 2 tracks remaining, but a couple things I am going to say.
1.) Once the demo is out, I’m going to be hosting a VS event to test if it is good for competitive.
2.) Small change for DLC, but the MKPC retros will be DLC 2, while half the DLC 2 tracks will be moved to DLC 1, but will instead be based on other Nintendo franchises (E.G. Pikmin, Zelda)

Decided to announce DLC1 for MK9 now, since I have an actual plan for it.
It will be about remakes, but there will be 2 kinds of remakes:
Actual remakes - there will be 16 of these, 2 from each game (will include beta courses)
MKPC remakes - 16, each from a different member (I will ask for permission from the owners of the 16 tracks I want to remake)
Along with this, I might release some DLC1 tracks during the process of making the main tracks

I'd like a track, if possible please make it pokemon or lego themed
This is a project showcase topic, not a track request topic...
He was probably requesting a track for MK9 DLC 2
Now you are probably wondering what DLC 1 is, in which I won't say

I know it may seem weird for me to announce DLC for MK9 already, but with Wave's contest, i've decided i'll start working on it now with the 10 themes he gives.
For the first DLC pack, it's going to be MKPC themed, with 32 tracks, each themed around a different MKPC member. If you would like a certain theme, then please tell me. I myself will be having a volcano track.
TRACKS
Nudge Volcano
Senko Stadium
Fiery Therapy
VC Cavern
Osc-Omb Factory

Theme already taken. I want everyone having a different track theme (though in some cases similar themes will be required (E.G. Snow and Ice class as different tracks))
