Personally I think we should have different options for cc when starting a Grand Prix like MK8DX.
I don't mind not having 50 or 100, but I'd like to see 200cc and possibly even mirror 150 if that's possible.

I guess it'd also be more challenge if you wanted to 100% the Grand Prix's because then you'd have to get a gold trophy on every cup on every CC

I don't mind not having 50 or 100, but I'd like to see 200cc and possibly even mirror 150 if that's possible.

I guess it'd also be more challenge if you wanted to 100% the Grand Prix's because then you'd have to get a gold trophy on every cup on every CC

i might misunderstand, but MK8DX wasnt the first to let you choose your cc class in Grand Prix. in fact, its been available all through the Mario Kart Series, even Super Mario Kart (SNES)

and about the suggestion, if it did get in, i predict that either there wouldnt be character reward for any other than 150cc, or the maybe unlikely rework of unlocking characters

I wish there was reverse mode,and the game checks
(by making you play in reverse) if the track is completable in reverse if it is not possible then
maybe you can create a new route for reverse(e.g in airship fortress reverse when you are driving up that tower,there is no cannon to shoot you to the cannon in normal mode,so say you make from that tower's entrance you drop down to another airship(which is connected with the next part of the track that is possible in reverse).Like how MKW does with some of its tracks.

A online tool for submitting custom reactions. However, they have to be moderated for obvious reasons.

Also, Dark mode on the general site. It's, like, two lines of code, dude.

I also had an awesome idea the other day: Custom colors and themes.

For GP mode sure, but VS would just be annoying. Also not sure how this would work as many decors are set to not move at all until the race begin.

This suggestion turned out to be very popular!

How custom trick animations would work:
In the character editor, you'd have an option to include a three (or five, Wargor's choice) frame image that would play when tricking. Not choosing a file would result in the default animation being used.

This can actually be bypassed by disabling JavaScript for this specific command, so Japanese characters can be used, inappropriate words, but you have to use Dev Chromium, which is generally not used even though Chrome is pretty much a Google clone.

This is already a thing if I'm not mistaken (not too sure though), also can easily get bypassed.

You could add staff ghosts! Every track could have a ghost created by someone on the MKPC team and a faster ghost unlocked after beating it. You could also let people optionally set their own custom staff ghosts on their custom tracks. There could even be unlockables for beating staff ghosts in the main game or on custom tracks!

As much as I would LOVE this update it is rather unlikely for qm to get removed entirely. I definitely do think qm does more harm than good for this website though.

Just like... use it? Complete mode really isn't that complicated at all. (Besides overrides)

I have a request and it is to add another type of leaderboard and that this one be of the best times in time trials no reverse drift. This is so that people like me who play on cell phones have more opportunities to finish, for example, in the top 10 on a track.

I suggested this a few times before, but if there’s lap overrides, why not add music overrides? Like yeah it can apparently be simulated at the moment but it doesn’t have the smooth transitions like the games

make the vr gain/loss less ridiculous in a 1v1.

For example, yesterday i played a 1v1 with a 30k vr player, and i won 3 races in a row (+8,+8,+7 vr respectively), before losing ONE match and i lost 300vr for that alone. It should not be so unfair.

Idk how online calculates points, though I'm assuming it isn't meant for 1v1's.

Custom Item Roster for Multicups much like the Custom Character Roster. If someone is making a SNES Multicup and wants only SNES Items then they should be able to customize which items are available as well as the distribution.

This is a pretty common request and I don't know why. Absolutely nobody plays battle mode and shoving it in peoples faces won't make them play either.

Some quick mode track builder suggestions:
1.Ability to change the color of the road,offroad,water,void,lava(and other stuff)

4.Diagonal track pieces and turns
5.More Space to build tracks in quick mode
6.Cannons,Mobile Floors,and Elevators in quick mode

What's even the point of quick mode if you want every feature from complete mode in it anyway?

1. Tweak the Bob-omb so when you're trailing it behind you, the explosion doesn't hurt you like in MKW. It's always annoying to get ready to use it, but then the person behind you hits it and screws up your entire Grand Prix.
2. Add more themes to Track Builder. Right now we're missing GBA Mario Circuit (it's listed but is actually Peach Circuit), Bowser Castles 2 & 4, and Banshee Boardwalk.
3. It be nice to get the N64 and GCN retro tracks from DS like Baby Park, Yoshi Circuit, Choco Mountain, Moo Moo Farm etc. I'd even be fine if they were just in quick building mode if it's too hard to make them tracks.
4. A bigger space to work with in Quick Builder, and cannon ramps like on Waluigi Pinball.
Sorry if this list is a bit long, but I could live without most of these (please give us Banshee Boardwalk in track builder)

1. It already does if you reverse drift, changing this to work without would probably require the explosion to appear way behind you which would be unfair to the people behind you.
2. Be happy with what you already have. Otherwise use complete mode. Also why do you want Banshee Boardwalk? There's already Ghost Valley and Boo Lake themes which look the exact same, not to mention Banshee Boardwalk not even being a base game track.

NGL In Races You Might Skip A Checkpoint So It Would Be Fitting To Use Them In Battle Mode.

Feather wouldn't be good in battle mode either as that would allow you to camp on walls.

More about the Bob-omb. If you're Mushrooming and one explodes on you, You get sent FLYING. My issue is that this can screw up certain tracks. For example, I was losing on GV3, so I was trying to cross the line as fast as I could. A There was a cluster of CPUs, and one of them whipped out a Bob-omb, which also hit me. It sent me flying to the right, off the track, but when lakitu picked me up, he put me down back in the middle of the track. Here's a map to the track so you can see what I mean: There are probably other tracks this could occur on like maybe the SNES and GBA Bowsers castles, but it happened on GV3. It'd be nice if the effects of the explosions were changed not to do this.

I think that's a bug where you bump against a cpu and get hit by a bomb at the same time. Hope it doesn't get fixed though as it's really funny.

Honestly don't know how to feel about this. Seems useless as everyone plays 150 anyway.

Just make a seperate track that plays in reverse.

How custom trick animations would work:
In the character editor, you'd have an option to include a three (or five, Wargor's choice) frame image that would play when tricking. Not choosing a file would result in the default animation being used.

This can actually be bypassed by disabling JavaScript for this specific command, so Japanese characters can be used, inappropriate words, but you have to use Dev Chromium, which is generally not used even though Chrome is pretty much a Google clone.

This is already a thing if I'm not mistaken (not too sure though), also can easily get bypassed.

You could add staff ghosts! Every track could have a ghost created by someone on the MKPC team and a faster ghost unlocked after beating it. You could also let people optionally set their own custom staff ghosts on their custom tracks. There could even be unlockables for beating staff ghosts in the main game or on custom tracks!

As much as I would LOVE this update it is rather unlikely for qm to get removed entirely. I definitely do think qm does more harm than good for this website though.

I have a request and it is to add another type of leaderboard and that this one be of the best times in time trials no reverse drift. This is so that people like me who play on cell phones have more opportunities to finish, for example, in the top 10 on a track.

I suggested this a few times before, but if there’s lap overrides, why not add music overrides? Like yeah it can apparently be simulated at the moment but it doesn’t have the smooth transitions like the games

make the vr gain/loss less ridiculous in a 1v1.

For example, yesterday i played a 1v1 with a 30k vr player, and i won 3 races in a row (+8,+8,+7 vr respectively), before losing ONE match and i lost 300vr for that alone. It should not be so unfair.

Custom Item Roster for Multicups much like the Custom Character Roster. If someone is making a SNES Multicup and wants only SNES Items then they should be able to customize which items are available as well as the distribution.

What's even the point of quick mode if you want every feature from complete mode in it anyway?

1. Tweak the Bob-omb so when you're trailing it behind you, the explosion doesn't hurt you like in MKW. It's always annoying to get ready to use it, but then the person behind you hits it and screws up your entire Grand Prix.
2. Add more themes to Track Builder. Right now we're missing GBA Mario Circuit (it's listed but is actually Peach Circuit), Bowser Castles 2 & 4, and Banshee Boardwalk.
3. It be nice to get the N64 and GCN retro tracks from DS like Baby Park, Yoshi Circuit, Choco Mountain, Moo Moo Farm etc. I'd even be fine if they were just in quick building mode if it's too hard to make them tracks.
4. A bigger space to work with in Quick Builder, and cannon ramps like on Waluigi Pinball.
Sorry if this list is a bit long, but I could live without most of these (please give us Banshee Boardwalk in track builder)

1. It already does if you reverse drift, changing this to work without would probably require the explosion to appear way behind you which would be unfair to the people behind you.
2. Be happy with what you already have. Otherwise use complete mode. Also why do you want Banshee Boardwalk? There's already Ghost Valley and Boo Lake themes which look the exact same, not to mention Banshee Boardwalk not even being a base game track.

NGL In Races You Might Skip A Checkpoint So It Would Be Fitting To Use Them In Battle Mode.

Feather wouldn't be good in battle mode either as that would allow you to camp on walls.

More about the Bob-omb. If you're Mushrooming and one explodes on you, You get sent FLYING. My issue is that this can screw up certain tracks. For example, I was losing on GV3, so I was trying to cross the line as fast as I could. A There was a cluster of CPUs, and one of them whipped out a Bob-omb, which also hit me. It sent me flying to the right, off the track, but when lakitu picked me up, he put me down back in the middle of the track. Here's a map to the track so you can see what I mean: There are probably other tracks this could occur on like maybe the SNES and GBA Bowsers castles, but it happened on GV3. It'd be nice if the effects of the explosions were changed not to do this.

I think that's a bug where you bump against a cpu and get hit by a bomb at the same time. Hope it doesn't get fixed though as it's really funny.

Personally I think we should have different options for cc when starting a Grand Prix like MK8DX.
I don't mind not having 50 or 100, but I'd like to see 200cc and possibly even mirror 150 if that's possible.

I guess it'd also be more challenge if you wanted to 100% the Grand Prix's because then you'd have to get a gold trophy on every cup on every CC

Honestly don't know how to feel about this. Seems useless as everyone plays 150 anyway.

I wish there was reverse mode,and the game checks
(by making you play in reverse) if the track is completable in reverse if it is not possible then
maybe you can create a new route for reverse(e.g in airship fortress reverse when you are driving up that tower,there is no cannon to shoot you to the cannon in normal mode,so say you make from that tower's entrance you drop down to another airship(which is connected with the next part of the track that is possible in reverse).Like how MKW does with some of its tracks.

Thank you for responding. Also, thanks for opening my eyes on Super Horn. However, I don't really agree with some of your answers, like that one about my idea of page for custom decors. It's good to be able to create your own decors, but I personally think that "You will never get better otherwise" isn't always right (the word "never" makes it plain wrong IMO). Like, what if you have problems with making good sprites for decors? Or if you simply like somebody's decor and think it worth be added in your track, why can't you use it?
Also, I found 0 points unfair because it's supposed to give at least one point when you're not last, so getting 0 looks like a message to flip off. At least your answer is more understandable than "it's uncommon so relax", so I might even agree with you somehow.
In terms of reverse drift one... You understand it was a joke, right?

This is good mostly. Megas, Bills, Stars, and Blues would be great to be alerted about, seeing as especially in large lobbies, you could get comboed easily without warning while saving your items for a cut or a comeback. But red shells should definitely stay off of those alerts, it'd be babying.
