Wait, is this an April Fool's joke?? Seriously.

So many people have been complaining about that! The character editor just isn't working for some reason. I did DM Wargor about the problem a while ago, so hopefully he sees my message.

Add an option to put a slightly transparent zoomed-out minimap on the game screen instead of having two minimaps separate.

I have two suggestions regarding the start/end of a race.

#1: You should be able to pause during the countdown. (3 2 1 GO!)

#2: In the second results screen, you could add arrows to indicate if someone went (↑) up, (↓) down, or (-) stayed the same in the rankings, like the more modern games.

You can add a circuit to a multicup (or battle course to battle cup, cup to multicup, ect.), but if one of them is added to multiple cups/multicups, it doesn't show anything new, it still says, "This ______ is part of a ______! Click here to access it," and only letting you go to the first creation it was added to. Instead, it should say something like, "This ______ is part of multiple ______s! Click here to access one of them." Then clicking on here would take you to a menu showing all creations it's a part of, allowing you to go to all of them. It would make things much more self-explanitory.

An auto accelerate mode in control settings would be useful to some.

A symbol (like 🔒 or something) next to the name of a forum topic to show that it's locked. This would make it so you don't have to click on a topic to see this.

Track selection settings for VS mode:

Choose - what it is now
Random - pretty self explanatory
In Order - start with track selected, go through all tracks in order from there

And also the ability to choose the amount of races you'll play, or free play (how it works now).

So, in general, more options for track selection would be useful if you have an at-home tournament, you're unsure of which track to pick, you want to try out every track in a multicup, or you just have limited time to play, etc.

The ability to choose an audio file (.WAV, .MP3, .MP4) for custom track music. Not everyone knows how to make and post a Youtube video, ya know.

More information about each player in online mode other than just their nickname:

It could also show their VR/BR amount and country flag in smaller text below their nickname.

You could add staff ghosts! Every track could have a ghost created by someone on the MKPC team and a faster ghost unlocked after beating it. You could also let people optionally set their own custom staff ghosts on their custom tracks. There could even be unlockables for beating staff ghosts in the main game or on custom tracks!

I learned how to rd a while ago. I don't know all strategies (ex: Which tracks to bag on, shortcuts on some tracks) but I'd say I'm quite good at the game. I'm also a Bronze player in CT Lounge currently.
