I got a "Message Farming" Warning??
On 2026-04-26 at 19:16:47
When I was getting on the website this morning, I saw a notification that I was *message farming* and if I do it again I get a ban. I honestly think this was a mistake but if it wasn't then can one of the mods please explain to me how I was message farming, because before the message counter got removed I wasn't even in the top five for most messages that month. https://imgur.com/a/MKD7UqD
As far as I'm concerned, message farming is just the name associated with entertaining useless topics instead of reporting them. You don't have to be actively trying to climb the leaderboard anymore, mods just don't want you to ignore the game with useless things like "what color shirt should I wear tomorrow" or "rate my pet 1-10". Those things aren't connected to the game, or the IP, or anything else about MKPC, so those topics and anything related to those topics take the fall. Bystanding is fair game, but you're posting messages in the topic actively allowing it to gain traction even though it's a meaningless topic that has nothing to do with the game or anything about the game (the people who created it, participate in it, etc.) It's a slippery slope when defining "what has to do with MKPC", but some of those things are justified mistakes. "Make the replies a school fight" is a completely unjustifiable mistake and should result in an action that makes you not want to participate in those kinds of topics, in this case, that action was a warn. There was no mistake, and there is no oppression, just follow the rules and stay far away from anything that opposes those rules.
Personal topics okayness chart (I'm not a mod so don't use this as some sort of stone tablet):
Birdo is my sworn enemy (applies to Mario which applies to Mario kart, and Mario kart applies to MKPC) [Acceptable]
Is Mapno4 an evil individual? (applies directly to a member(s) in MKPC) [Acceptable]
What Should I Name My Dog (has nothing even loosely to do with MKPC) [Message farm]
Who do you main in smash bros? (again, Nintendo ip, also a video game, passable) [Acceptable]
Reply to a person with a name that has the same first letter (only applies vaguely to members in MKPC and hardly anything about the actual website or game, if so, loosely, and unspecific) [Message farm]
Rate circuit 1-10 (Applies to MKPC tracks, creates engagement) [Acceptable]
To me, it doesn't matter the count, or the reason, it's just that the topics that have nothing to do with the game subtract from people's experience with the game. To many people, MKPC is just another 4chan, and that's not the intention of the forums. If you have something stupid to say, take it to SFA (Space for anything), it's literally in the name. Don't flood MKPC with stuff like "school fight in the replies" or whatever, it's dumb, and you should know better than to entertain it.
SFA: https://mkpc.malahieude.net/topic.php?topic=16943 (Still do not use this as a GC you have so many more options than MKPC it's no longer a good excuse)

2Track Of The Day/Week
On 2026-05-17 at 22:39:52
Sorry for my LONG absence. I had exams and then kind of wasn't sure what to pick as showcase. Today, I am here with a difficult track, so buckle up.
It is quite popular, but I'm not sure many people know it as of today - as it was released in 2025. It is Limbo by @Puff_with_a_gun. It's admittedly one of the hardest MKPC tracks to play, but I believe it's worth it. Both visually and in terms of gameplay, the track can appear as overwhelming and confusing - but that's also its charm. It will throw you off at first, but once you get used to it, it is truly an experience. Most MKPC tracks never reach the "experience" stage - you play them, you have fun, you learn the strats, you grind, that's it. But some tracks manage to truly make a lasting impression, and this one's for the books. It is truly unlike any other track you have seen before - I can guarantee you that. If you are a Geometry Dash fan, you should 100% check it out!! This is what happens when dedication and effort meets passion and creativity. Will you dare to try it out?
I won't spoil any more and let you see for yourself.
Have a nice day and hope you will enjoy the track!!

Very cool looking track with a not bad layout, I wish I could run it a little better but taking away any of this course's flashiness would be a massive injustice to it. Amazing track.

Hello again everyone! I'm here today for my second showcase, which is GBA Rainbow Road by @TheNudgyHampter. Indeed, I believe the track went rather unnoticed, as it only has 12 views and 3 comments, most of the views being from people who discovered it while playing CTGP-PC BG. This track is a remake of a track most of y'all have already played from the base game, however I believe this version is much more interesting. You see, the base game track couldn't have jumps because it completely fucked up with the checkpoints... but that took all the essence of the original track away. So today, I'm here with a version of GBA Rainbow Road that does have jumps but also plays well! They aren't bordering the entire track like they are on the original version, but many of them are still present, allowing you to take shortcuts by jumping over the void!
I decided to showcase this track for its familiarity and its gimmick but also for its visuals. I believe they are of really good quality. I hope you all will have as much fun on this track as I did

It's too easy hahahahaha /j, a very fun track that looks as good as it plays, very satisfying shortcuts and a really good casual experience all around, really good stuff from hampter.

how about cup/multicup of the day/week?
That would require every track in that multicup, or even most tracks to be of really really good quality, which is a scarce thing right now. It's good to start with solid, unpopular tracks at a time, not only because it makes those tracks mean more from a design perspective, but also because there's just more singular tracks to work with per day/week.

Many of the more experienced players want newer players to play the game more, whether it's TT, online mode, lounges or track creation. The thing is, I believe that in the current state of things, the forum is way more pushed on the home page as it is quite literally the first thing you see. Besides that, the base game tracks can be pretty hard to drive on, as they are quite thin, and in my opinion can get quite boring after some time (no offense obviously).
As a solution to that, I have decided to create this topic. How will things work?
Simple, every once in a while (probably not every day cause I'm a high schooler and have other passions than MKPC), I'll send a custom track that I find particularly good and give you guys reasons to play the track. This will allow you guys to discover custom tracks that you can have fun on, and maybe even inspire you to make your own!
@Nodac64
Today, I'm kicking off things with a rather simple-to-understand and easily sight-readable track, Toad Town, made by Nodac64. It is pretty popular and part of CTGP-PC But Good, with 23 vews and an high average of 4.83/5. It's a fun, bright, colorful track that takes you inside a town populated by Toads, and around said town. Drive through little houses, then into a cave, and jump over bridges! Be careful not to fall down, or you'll have to drive back to the place you jumped from. Not the second time though, there's an invisible jump to allow you to keep going on.
I hope you'll have a lot of fun playing this track, it's quite easy to drive on and very lively visually. There are also some shortcuts which I'm hoping you will find!

Really great track to start with. Vibrant coloring, good visuals, and very satisfying to play, with each little offroad shortcut and boost. Can't wait to see this topic grow!

Terrible Flaw of MKPC (that will probably lead to doxxing)

So there is a terrible flaw on MKPC. If you log out and press forgot password and click on i have my email on my account, it will ask you for your username, and when you put in your person, it will just give you their email.
This happened to me today and tendo now knows my email (although it is a fake) and he tried email bombing me (so know I know HIS email).
I am reporting this because I really don't want anyone to have to suffer from this.

I tried this with @Proudster's profile and it didn't give me the full email. How is this an issue if it's censored?

I don't respond to E-Mails. On the contrary, why are you even contacting me in the 1st place?
I did not contact you? The only reason I used your email for the test was bc I had figured that you linked your email, so I used your profile to test the thing that keinieo said to see if it was true. If the contents were too revealing, I would not have posted the screenshot. Nobody can contact you with that information alone without a brute force method.
I just checked my E-Mails and I didn't get a single thing from you.
Yeah, because I didn't contact you. The point of the experiment wasn't to contact you.

What the Dark Shell does.
On 2026-05-20 at 19:58:33
the dark shell goes to the slowest character in-game, and explodes like a blue shell but its purple.
And to unlock it, type darkshell when making a new item
And to unlock it, type darkshell when making a new itemKind of correct. The dark shell only targets the player that is in last place, regardless of speed.

He's crushing spelling bee on roblox right now and also making his own game, so it'll either be a while or never. GL to Proudster, I do hope he changes his mind though.

All I did was play WOL, so I mained King K. Rool and Lucas for easy kills, down smashing with Rool and up smashing with Lucas. (Both of their specials are good for killing CPUs as well)
1MKPC KING OF KINGS 4/16/2026 - 4/16/2027
On 2026-04-26 at 17:17:57
Have you ever wondered, who is the actual #1 player? Points don't count, skill does. Well, this is just for you!
Starting today, a very important event that I am hosting is starting now. What even is this that I am talking about?
MKPC KING OF KINGS will go on for a year, from
4/16/2026-4/16/2027. Now, let's go into the concept and what this is all about:
MKPC KING OF KINGS is a event that will be going on for a full year, and is focused on how much races you win in online, and battle. Make sure you post your updates on this forum every day to tell me how much battles you won. If anyone is lying, they will be banned from MKPC KING OF KINGS for the rest of the event. The races and battles that you won will be of course sorted into 2 groups:
Race
Battle
Near the end of the event, each player's races won, and battles won will be combined into one, and the one with the highest score claims the title: THE KING OF KINGS, and first place in the event. (forgot to mention, you can challenge players too)
The participants will be up to 100-200 players. Make sure to comment if you will join or not, and ask any questions that you have in mind. Here are the participants:
@KeinieoMK @Mr_Manager @LandoNorris_Fan @WorldRecord @BlueKirby24 @XeroYT @MysticalCow @-Natsuki- @CraftoMK09 @Blue_Toad_221

Nobody will be a "literal god of mkpc" by playing and winning worldwides. This is not skill oriented even remotely. How could you even think that you have the right to say who's good when your judgement comes from the amount of VR someone has while not even having much VR yourself? And, even if you did, why does VR matter? Base game sucks, it's been said a million times, if you were going to make a tournament, you should've introduced people to better tracks. You could've brought more people into lounge, or even just basic competitive play on better tracks, not whatever this is. Name me 20 good tracks from the base game and why they're good and I'll consider your tournament as something beneficial.

Something I really dislike about People who make High QualityTracks.
On 2026-05-02 at 17:06:46
Adding onto what the others have said about websites, I just did a 12 minute speedbuild of a random track in pixilart. Here is the result:
Keep in mind I do have 6 years of experience in MKPC track design, and have used pixilart quite a bit in the past, so replicating something like this won't be as quick for everyone.
Obviously, it isn't crazy high quality, but there's enough in it to be considered 'okay' or 'decent'. It goes to show that you don't need to spend too much time to make something look alright, and I do think most people would appreciate what's here. If somebody else were to publish this in its current state (assuming the collisions are good) I'd probably give a 4/5, or even a 5/5 to support new/emerging creators, and I think many people could agree.
If enough people think this is impressive for a 12 minute build, I may consider making a beginner friendly pixilart tutorial using a similar art style. Hopefully it encourages more and better track making.
Also I'm gonna be totally honest but idk how you think this level of immaturity is somehow acceptable, and there's a perfectly valid reason why false ratings are forbidden in the rules. You also say this as if you haven't done it already.
There's also a difference between hate and criticism, especially if the criticism is constructive.

So to summarize this, if those haters are gonna hate on tracks for not being highly detailed, then I'm gonna hate on their tracks for being accurate, because honestly, I'm not a huge fan of highly detailed tracks.

12 minutes?? Dude how long did it take you to perfect your curves that's insane
2On 2026-05-01 at 17:34:07
I've noticed that a lot of tracks that are either Pixelated, Not Super Detailed, or not made by Mods or Developers of the game have a tendency to get low ratings. Now some of the lower quality tracks are bad, but there are some tracks that are really great despite being made on a non professional website. But these good tracks get rated very low as if they are just scribbles.
And it's not just the tracks that get a lot of hate, it's the Multicups or Arenas that contain some of these Underrated Tracks. For example, MKPC Retro Rewind has a huge variety of Tracks made by other users. Sure, some of the tracks are a little bad looking, but at least 60% of the tracks have great quality for a non professional website.
But unfortunately, almost all of those people that make high quality tracks just kept rating it a 3/5 as if every single track was terrible. This made me upset because I included all of my best tracks, and some of them I spent a Week working on. But those haters just rate them a 2/5-3/5 as if I spent 5 Minutes drawing them. Honestly, this is the reason I haven't made many tracks recently. What's the point of spending a Week trying to make a track when it's just gonna get a 2/5? There is no point in spending my time trying to make people happy when people are just gonna hate it.
You know how many artists have different art styles? This is how I see some of those Good Tracks made on non professional websites. Especially the Cartoony ones. I see those cartoony tracks as "art" rather than "trash" like what those haters would say.
So to summarize this, if those haters are gonna hate on tracks for not being highly detailed, then I'm gonna hate on their tracks for being accurate, because honestly, I'm not a huge fan of highly detailed tracks.
Who here agrees with me?

I don't doubt that you've gotten hate on your tracks, but the creators that I've seen "hate" on your tracks were simply just giving criticisms on your tracks. Tracks are not like artwork. They rely on many different concepts besides looks to be perceived as "good". Because a track is an artwork, however, that is a huge piece of the mapping. The gameplay derives from the artwork. The style derives from the artwork. The readability derives from the artwork. There IS an art to making tracks, but simply put, you haven't quite mastered it, and you will continue to not master it if you stay stuck in your attitude and not accepting the fact that, to most, these tracks aren't good, and that it's not just the fact that "their opinion sucks". Let me give you some of my OWN critiques, aside from the ones you received from others (there may be some overlap).
Super Mario Kart Remastered:
SNES Rainbow Road Remastered V2 https://mkpc.malahieude.net/map.php?i=139396:
-Messy Minimap. It's hard to see when all the decors are blocking the road.
-Blurry. It has a bad image quality that makes it unappealing to look at.
-Hard to play. Overrides are really rushed and hard to activate, track is hard to read.
-Road width massive and unnecessarily so.
This is the case for almost all of the tracks I've seen made by you. Some of the tracks you've made aren't even yours, they're just taken from N64 map images from mk64 and collisions were added, like in Super Mario Kart R. I think you have potential as a creator if you study what good tracks look like, and learning from your mistakes.
DO NOT go hating on other people's work because your ego inclines you to believe that people only don't like your stuff because it "looks different". You can be punished for that kind of stuff, it's false rating, and you should know better.

3I'm Leaving
On 2026-04-27 at 23:02:21
I am sadly going to be leaving MKPC. I have felt very stressed lately over leaving middle school in around 2 months, and most of my friends on this site can Reverse Drift, and I can't. I have also had constant pressure to get my VR up, because @CraftoMK09's VR has skyrocketed, and I have struggled. No offense to Crafto, or anyone but I have had it. I might come back this summer, but overall I am not impressed with the game.
For one last time,
Peace, MKWMaster80.
For one last time,
Peace, MKWMaster80.
Don't feel bad about VR, VR means next to nothing because worldwide is not competitive. As for reverse drift, if you just practice, you'll be able to learn it too. There's a lot of resources for finding out how to reverse drift, and since you have a lot of friends that can do it, they'll train you by playing worldwides. I sure wouldn't mind playing games with you if you asked.

I can't speedrun the game with an actual speedrun timer, so you wouldn't know if it's actually legit. I might just do it anyway though for fun, it's not like I'm going to cheat.
1. I put the livesplit download link in
2. the leaderboard uses the sum of the times in the corner of the screen anyway
Nope I can't download that. I'll just record and see how it goes.

I can't speedrun the game with an actual speedrun timer, so you wouldn't know if it's actually legit. I might just do it anyway though for fun, it's not like I'm going to cheat.

The game will not receive base track updates, so there's no point in complaining about something that was made years ago because it's not exactly like smk. Plus, if you were a competitive player, you'd probably understand why this version is actually better due to techs in the game.
Accuracy aside, I should not be able to drive over water in this game. It completely removes distinctive challenges in multiple maps (such as the bridge gaps in Donut Plains 3),and creates massive skips in other maps.
It does create massive skips, sure, but that's not necessarily just a bad thing. There are shortcuts that are possible in certain maps that make the game more fun because of this feature. You could argue the absence of those other quirks creates a worse experience, or you could argue that it creates a better one, but the game hasn't degraded necessarily, just become different. It's not a quality issue at all in my opinion.
No i totally get where u are coming from and I even agree, I guess it really comes down to why you are playing.
I played this game hoping i could play SMK online with a few new mechanics, items, characters, and maps, and I was disappointed to see that the maps had been messed with in seemingly strange ways.
Inversely i can see why this would be more fun for people who are trying to play competitively and maximize their speed with drift boosts and crazy skips and such.
I just personally don't want to play on maps that have content removed.
Thank goodness for custom maps since that is really the main draw for me now that i'm aware of this aspect of the game.
Also i'm really a fan of how this thread has been civil and informational to me, very rare thing to see on the internet these days.
A lot of this community is very solid and supportive in regards to the game. Like how you're glad of people being respectful to you, I'm glad that you were respectful to me. It's refreshing to hear arguments that not only make sense but also express the idea of objectivity being different from subjectivity. I think if you plan on continuing with the community, look into competitive. It's a great way to learn as you progress, not even just in your skill at the game, but also track design as well.
